I'm dying to go road cruising. I can't wait to find some snakes crawling out and about. Until than, I've decided to "practice" by shooting some more pictures of my greyband, Spot.

I'm really pleased with my new lens and flash unit. The only downside is that the Sigma lens has a relaly difficult time focusing in really low light. That just means I have to use manual focus, which isn't bad. Autofocus has me spoiled, though...;)

Nice shots Chris! I don't know many photographers who shoot macro that use auto focus. I just can't use it. My Nikon is not compatible with the auto focus motor.
 
He is GORGEOUS! I've been seriously looking into Greybands, but I think it'll have to wait. I love the last picture especially! Such an adorable face!
 
He is a beautiful grayband Chris! And he looks so inquisitive! Do you still have a female too or just the male?
 
That's right - you did post her recently, didn't you? Sorry - bad migraine this morning and my head isn't on quite right yet....
 
Gorgeous snakes, Chris. My Grey-Band is in shed right now, but they one of the most attractive snakes, in my opinion.
