Pepper has been going CRAZY the last few days! I guess he misses his girlfriend, Buzztail. No, you can't breed more than five times, Peps, you're cut off!!

So Pepper has been constantly cruising his viv, begging to come out, and this afternoon I found him lounging in his water bowl. No, he's not hot. He's in the cooler male rack, and it's only 80F in my house. No, he doesn't have mites. I saw him hovering by his bowl, so I topped it off with fresh water, and in he went!

My normally reclusive snake now comes out and up my arm if I open up his viv to give him a pet! I guess he's a lonely boy...

Well, I just tried putting my male anery het lavender, bloodred poss het hypo with my female lavender poss het hypo bloodred. She was ready - he didn't seem interested.
She is a little small - big enough to breed - but smaller than some of my other females. I may try them again in a few days and if he still isn't interested you are more than welcome to borrow her too! It would test him out for lavender and test her out for hypo and bloodred.
 
If my striped fire girl was a little bit bigger, I would send her down to you also. She is possible het anery, they would make a good pair.

He is absolutely gorgeous, I will be looking to next year for baby avalanche stripes if there are none to find this year. Please put me on a list if there is one, or I will keep watching.

What a pretty snake! :) My boy Joxer has been crazy too, ever since he got to date the ladies... too bad they're done for the season, because he certainly isn't - LOL.

Sadly, I won't be producing any avalanche stripes (or fire stripes or granite stripes or bloodred stripes) this season, because Ruby ended up being a male, although he was sold to me as a female. Check your purchases for correct sex the minute they arrive!! My lesson for the year... So I have to start that project from scratch. I am extremely disappointed.
