Oh wow. What a snake! Great setting too... that dappled lighting makes her look even more spectacular.

Thanks, all, for the compliments. This girl is a notorious musker and tail rattler. She is the one that gives me the biggest "bluff display" whenever I pick her up, but as you can see from the photos, she is incredibly docile in hand.

The "dappled light" is coming through a tree behind me that sits outside my living room window. The "effect" of the light was purely accidental. I just wanted a bright, sunny picture, and those are what I got. I only wish her deep blue and purple iridescence was more visible. The iridescence that you can see in the pics is only about 1/10th of what you see in "real life".

Anyone even considering getting one of these "oil-slick beauties" should go for it. They are fantastic snakes...and the "exclusivity" of the "MBK Club" speaks for itself...;)

I thought about one, but I was under the impression they needed the same sort of size tank as a corn... which I don't have room for... am I right?

Luna is an outstanding snake. tyflier, thanks for showing us these pictures you are an outstanding member of the MBK club here at CS.

Jenn,
These are fantastic snakes and are worthy of any collection.

Nice looking MBK Ty. The thing I like most about them is the opalescence, if that's a word, that the belly scales get. It actually looks like a few layers of it is transparent making it look thicker then it is. Almost like a real thick clear coat on a custom paint job. ;) Very cool snake indeed.

I need to find one of these. They're beautiful!

I dunno how I'm gonna afford all these snakes. I haven't seen the sugardaddie.com ad pop up lately...hmmm.... :grin01:

Chris, that is one amazing snake.

Great Snake! :crazy02:
I was going to get a MBK but they dont come in at my petshop too often and when they do they are quite pricey. Ill have one, one day to try and breed with my Desert Phase King.

Not trying to hijack your thread Ty but I would like to say great job to Trickster for making/using his 1000 post on your thread. Couldn't have picked a better thread to post it on in my opinion. Congratulations

Jay-
Thanks for that and yes, what better thread to have my 1000 post in, but in one with MBKs.

Jenn,
I believe Carol has them, but not sure if she is already has her list filled up for the year.
