I got this little guy as a lavender het anery/stripe. From his belly shot I also want to say he's het bloodred, maybe??? I also don't know what's with his dorsal pattern, almost motley-like, and the coloring is NOTHING like my other lavenders, I want to call it "diluted or washed out". No reference to the gene dilute. But maybe? Enjoy!

Looks like an absolutely gorgeous and colorful lavender to me! The "motley" pattern is probably due to some interesting zigzag/aztec influence, common in lavenders. The belly pattern is "iffy" for indicating a possible het bloodred status.
 
Beautiful little lavender, my lavs bellies look just like that. His pattern is def. interesting, looks motley but from what Susan is saying he might not be a motley? weird.
 
His pattern is sometimes referred to as "notley", because he's actually *not* genetically motley. Lavenders are somewhat infamous for aberrant patterning like that. Otherwise he seems like a lovely colorful lavender. As to those split checkers? Not a good indicator, really. I have a pet store snake that is a result from what might be a hypo to a snow. Absolutely no blood in his genetics, and he's got split checkers. I also had a SQ ghost with a split belly.
 
I had seen that one in an ad and wanted soooooo bad! He looks freakin' amazing! I have a pair of "notleys" that are het lav phet blood with the same checkering only on the belly borders.
 
Thanks everyone! I knew it wasn't a motley, I just noted that it was motley-esc. :) And for the het blood, yeah, its never a surefire way of telling, but we can have dreams can't we? ;)

And I have other lavenders het blood with the same belly is why I noted that. btw
