One of the coolest fires I've seen in some time. Can't go wrong with the pied combo really either. Great hatchling. Might have just made my decision on the next snake I want more difficult though...
 
Very gorgeous! What do you see that tells you that baby is lava?

Its a stunning baby, but I too am not sure. I have hatched a few of these over the last 4 years or so, and none looked like this one. I eventually used my original male and proved that he was a fire lava, so its likely this may have to be the case here to know for sure... But also pictures can show different to what you actually see, im not a very good photographer though lol.
 
ok that eyes are not the same eyes of fires the pattern the same thing not red more orange have allso a female but normal Lava Fire not pied ! tomorrow is feeding time will make a pic with a fire together !
