2007 New England Patriots Season.

Jay@PJCReptiles

"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi Everyone,
As some of you know I love football and how much of a Patriots fan I am. I know the season officially started on Thursday night but for me it doesn't start until my beloved pats take the field. Today is the first game of the season and they play their division rival New York Jets. Hopefully we will make another run at the Super Bowl this year. We have a good chance with the off-season acquisitions we picked up, Randy Moss being a huge one. Tom Brady should be his old self and with Bruschi leading the defense should be just as solid as well. We will miss Rodney Harrison for a few weeks but have a couple of guys to pick up the slack. If anyone likes football as much as I do please feel free to add to this post with anything about the NFL, your favorite team and especially anything about the New England Patriots !!!!! Patriot Nation !!!!
P...A...T...S...PATS! PATS! PATS!

just seen my all time fav player score for the patriots... shame i still got the 'raiders moss top' lol.. might have to get the NEP off ebay

Ok, Vinny I am sorry...I didn't know you were a Steelers fan! Well, if I did I guess I would have avoided you so... :sidestep: :grin01:

My teams are the Bengals (hence why I don't like the Steelers) and the Panthers! But thats just NFL...Ohio State is my REAL pride and joy!

Glad it is football season...

well my biys are raiders, so you can all have a giggle at that lol..
although i have almost every foorball jersey in my collection.

Well there we go. Great start to a new season. That was a pretty convincing 38-14 win. Brady didn't get touched all day long, now that's an offensive line. Randy Moss was incredible. It almost wasn't fair for the Jets DB's. The special teams even had a huge roll in the game when Ellis Hobbs' set an NFL record for the longest kick-off return (108 yards) EVER. Five different touchdowns by five different players says a lot about the talent and depth on the Patriots roster. We still have another sixteen long weeks until the playoffs but by the look of today's game we have an excellent shot at taking the post season as well. This is already turning into a good thread. Keep posting away everyone and show your team spirit.
Patriot Nation!!!!

Aaahh, that's right.... I forgot you were an evil, dreaded Steelers fan. :grin01: Big Ben is a tough quarterback. See you on 12/9 and you know it is gonna be a good game. By the way, I did like that Jack Lambert avatar, talk about a tough bastard. :sidestep:

It's ok cornmorphs. It's not your fault. There must be some kind of 12 step program you could attend to help you with your affliction. :grin01: :sidestep:

I am one of those evil Browns and Steelers fans. I grew up in Cleveland, but went to college in Pitt the year that the Browns moved to Baltimore. I saw the city of Pittsburgh stand behind keeping the Browns in Cleveland and grew a sense of admiration for them that has grown over the years and turned me into a full blown fan.

Of course, I have also always loved the Dolphins (first team that I ever visited their stadium) and now living in Tampa I am also a huge Bucs fan....

What can I say - I spread my love around! :grin01:

I almost forgot about tonights game Mike. I hate Dallas with a passion, almost as bad as the Dolphins. :puke01:
Go G-Men!!!

I'd bet the Colts are going to be serious contenders again (if I was a betting man). Bring your lunch money! :grin01:

I have tickets to that game!

Imo, you guys have always been the hurdle to overcome on the journey through the season. I look forward to and dread each and every game against NE, but such is the life. Without a serious rival, how much fun would it be? :)

Being a fan isn't always easy........
Net Rushing Yards, Ahman Green, vs. KC: 73
Net Rushing Yards, Green Bay vs. Philadelphia: 46

Tell me about it. My guys backed into a win. Recovering two muffed punts and converting them to points won't happen again.

regards,
jazz
