2010 CS.com NFL Football Pick 'Em

Bah, Farve and speculation...now, USF holding the Gators scoreless until just before halftime...WOW! Did not see that coming!

I missed me some Football!!! This is exactly what my Sunday's have been missing!

And although it's the free NFL Sunday Ticket preview, I still can't turn off the Pats game. They're looking like they're ready to make a HUGE statement this year. And that defense is looking far from young and inexperienced.

(now to check on my FF teams)

The Pickem' is looking very interesting. Zoologygirl was the only one to pick the Texans, and it's looking like a favorable pick. I really wanted to pick Houston, but after picking them twice against Indy last season only to have them blow the game, I just couldn't do it.

The Denver/Jax game is looking like it will split some leaders as well. Close game... I initially had Denver, but I was convinced by a little bird (my brother) that Jax would win. I totally forgot until I checked, so I've been rooting for the Broncos for no reason today, lol.

C'mon Detroit, leading the whole way and blow it. There was one point in time where all my picks were winning (or tied)...some of them are starting to lose it.

OMG Detroit touchdown!!!!!!!!!!! final seconds.

Okay...nevermind apparently not. Lame. They blew it afterall.

Hey, my Houston switched payed off! The Cleveland switch did not.

Oh I love it. The cowboys are one of my least favorite teams, and they lost :dancer:
OUCH...!!!! Leave it up to the Cowboys to PLAY DOWN to the competition!!! The Cowboy offense GAVE them those points AND gave them the penalty to take away the winning TD... What a bunch of.......:shrugs::confused::shrugs::confused::shrugs:

Cowboys defense stepped up I thought. Eagles kicked a field goal, it was reversed on a penalty against Dallas and they got 1st and goal and the the 'Boys D was able to hold them to 0 points?! That's great that they were able to mentally bounce back from that penalty.

However, offense was terrible. No idea what the coaching staff was thinking at the end of the half. I lay the blame at the coaches feet for this game. The offensive game plan and calling was terrible. They should have also had Barber double team Orakapo with Barron on that last play (or for the entire last drive for that matter!). Barron was getting beat all night, give him help for pete's sake!

I wish they could find a way to keep Wade as defensive coordinator (I think our D will be Super Bowl caliber), but get new head coach (woo Dungy out of retirement?) and new offensive coordinator.

Oh well. It's hard for me to be too upset, I really like McNabb and if there's a player in this league deserving of a SB ring, its him IMO. As much as I want the 'Boys to win it all, it wouldn't upset me if McNabb was able to either.
