2nd snake?

And yes, Smigon, "free" is a near death sentence for a pet shop animal. The dumbest rednecks with no true interest in the species are always the most likely to want it. And of course, they have no interest in proper habitat. There were a number of animals I couldn't sell in my shop, simply because they were too cheap and became disposable to people.

I never plan to breed any of my kiddos. I figure if I can throw $20 to the owner it will be well worth it in the end for the snake.

I think a lot of people think higher prices on CL, some with "best offer". I truly try to believe that the seller wants the best for the snake and when I explain what I do they usually give them to me for free.

No, I have a totally different enclosure. The snake was cared for, I just felt bad cuz he's been there for 6 months. He's healthy and friendly. I'm not a red neck that will just get a snake because it's a snake. I owned a red tail for 10+ years. Then just recently decided to get a corn for me and my daughter. I know what I'm doing, enough to keep them happy and healthy. I'm no expert, you don't have to be to keep a healthy corn.

I think you read my post all wrong. I was simply agreeing with Smigon that stores can't label an animal they would give away "free," simply because the first taker is seldom the kind of person who can properly care for it. In no way was I inferring that was you.

No, didn't think you were referring to me. I know what you are saying, I agree. Just saying I'm not one of those people.
