4th & 5th Clutches Hatching Now...

Now, I wonder if other morphs, when combined with the thick borders of an RO or Okeetee, would make a difference in that washed out pasty color of the hatchlings? I'm curious to see what effects it has on Anery - which we'll get to see maybe when the babies emerge from the one clutch.

Now that IS exciting! I can't wait for those guys to start pipping. Geeze, here I am getting excited over a clutch that's not even mine!
I suppose until I start breeding I'll just have to live vicariously through everyone's pipping photos.

I know that feeling! I mean, really, I do... Considering These guys were do back in the middle of LAST month and all... I think next year I'm not even going to write any dates in on the calendar because I think they hid the extra days on purpose! lol...

Actually I think they were just cooler than we initially thought they were during the first month of incubation. It's been a really weird breeding season this year for a number of people.

I've never vomitted anything that beautiful!!
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Neither have I, Nanci, but I have seen ugly worms like him in my nightmares!

I have to come out an admit it.. This particular clutch has not disappointed me one bit.. In fact I have this smug grin on my face that almost wants to say I told you so... But the picture proof is certainly convincing.. The male has one more clutch icubating, and the males sister was bred to an amel male this year..:roflmao::crazy02:

We've had 5 snows and five ultramel anerys leave the egg now, with only one left to hatch... not even a pip from this last one, but we'll give it a bit more time.

Here's a few more pics of the first few hatchlings to come out:

Uh, um... hi... my name is bubba:

I couldn't resist... the reflection of the light makes that one look like it has buck teeth.

Now, here's a picture of a group of babies from the other clutch, the Anery Motley x Anery Motley clutch:

Looks like we might have a dilute or two in that group, but will hold off on confirming that until after they shed. They do look a bit different though, and no where near different enough to be ghosts. You can see one of them in the lower right hand corner - crossing right over its sibling.

More pictures will follow later!

Oh, and while the ultramel anerys seem to have no borders in the pictures, they are starting to develop or show through as their skin and scales dry out. I will get some updated pictures of them later to post.

Wow even more beautiful babies, I'm lovin the pics of the Ultramel Anery :D Are you sure the buck teeth are a reflection of the light, or could that be the egg tooth we can see? :)

Congrats on the gorgeous babies!

Could be the egg tooth, but when taking pics from a different angle, it can't be seen at all. And it had looked like this one had already dropped the egg tooth, but I suppose it could have been... =)

Still looks funny with the double reflection. lol

Here are the rest of the pictures I promised... I'm running a bit behind, but it's been kind of hectic around here and all.

You can see the borders coming out on some of the ultramels in this pictures, but none with especially thick boarders apparently. Though I won't know until after they shed for sure.

Pictures of individual hatchlings will be posted in the photo gallery once they have all shed and I will come back to post a link in this thread for those who are interested in viewing them without having to search for the new thread. =)

Enjoy...

Babys look great guys!!!!

The Ultramel anerys I got from PISS did'nt have the large borders for some reason only the "ugly thing" had them. How is he doing? be ready for his mom next year?

Thats what we are working towards Timmah.. He is doing fine, his borders are starting to colour in with the purple/blue colouration..

Maybe they're so big you just can't even see them yet, kind of like the way extreme Okeetees look as hatchlings. :p

I wish! I can kind of see them coming in, a little darker than the rest of the saddle. They look at least a little bigger than what I'm used to seeing on an Ultramel Anery. I think it will be a good start at least!
