That's "lin-NAY-ah"
This clutch of 23 finished hatching out today. Parents are Ultramel het Charcoal, Mot x Blizzard--but I believe both are het anery, as I got some very unusual (and pretty!) babies.

Here's what the results are from the Corn Calculator:

But I'm not sure what I'm seeing beyond amels, ultramels, snows, blizzards, and ultramel anerys. What does a snow charcoal look like, or an ultramel anery, charcoal?? The two babies on the left are the most interesting to me, and the ones I'm not sure about. They have very clean, white markings. But one is a grayer tone than the other.

Any guesses?

Lovely clutch! And your query is why I do my best to avoid mixing anery and charcoal. I did break my rule about that this year, but only because I don't plan on keeping the results and then breeding them together again.

I know some breeders have a way of telling them apart. I think it has to do with the cheek color and the color over the eyes, plus a few other minor variations in color, but then, I can't tell the difference between a lavender and an anery lavender either, so am really no help at all.

I've read multiple times that charcoal morphs have blue above the eyes, but beyond that I would be at a loss to tell everything apart. I think Stephen has an ultramel charcoal listed in the for sale section. Maybe you could use the pic as comparison?

Thanks everyone! Yep, I did *not* suspect anery as a hidden het--surprise, surprise! I'm bringing them to Daytona, so maybe someone more experienced and wise in the way of morph-ing can help me out. I appreciate all the comments, though!
