A New Friend

I don't think I will become a big BP person, but I love my two. The little girl that boarded with Nanci (0.1 2010 spider from the Corn Snake Dinner raffle) is cute, cute, cute and so mellow for a 2010. Marbles is my boy, and he's a classic with rich black & khaki coloring and so chill, just sits on my lap, a great TV watching snake.

An $80 Spider ball, full grown? Yeah, I'd be worried there was a good reason for a retail establishment to charge that price for a full grown snake, and I'd want to find out what it is!

Considering that baby Spiders seem to be around $200, I'm not sure if the price is good or bad.. I think that the store owner might not know what to charge for it? *Shrug* If I had the money I probably would have considered it, and just kept him in EXTREME quarantine until I was totally sure he was healthy.. but.. ug I don't know how I feel about supporting a shop like that. And... I don't really have an extra $80 + however much it would be to make a proper set up for him. Well.. if he's there the next time I go I'll take my camera and try to get a picture to see what you all think. (Then I'll stuff him into my bag and... ) eik, just kidding. :smash:

Awww I love Benji, too bad the name just doesn't fit. Maybe when I finally get my BP (oh it will happen, one way or another) I will get a male and name him Benji! I definitely would like a good TV watching snake! My Corns are never as interested in chilling as they are in the nooks and crannys of my couch..

I love when they turn out to be girls, who needs males lol we are definitely a girly household here hehehe

LOL! Some of us do? :) That must be the case, here, 'cause this household is decidedly male-heavy.

With Puppette, I was hoping for a boy simply because they tend to be smaller, and she seems to be a perfect size "as is". She's so mellow, though, that she could probably grow to retic size and still be ok. I'd just have to keep an eye on my dogs :).
