how much is a good asking price for a normal 30 inch adult female and a anery 36 inch adult male cornsnake? i dont know anything about appraising snakes... also what kind of babies would they produce and how much do those go for? i wanted to sell these things for 75- 100 but i dont know if this is too much or if thats rediculously low. can someone give me a good reference for pricing these things?
thanks!

re:pricing

Most of the adults I see for sale go over $100....like $150. You put a lot of bucks/care into growing them that big, so I don't think that's unusual. However, I would think a Normal would go for a lot less than your Anery.

I'd check the Classifieds over at Kingsnake.com to see some pricing...

are kingsnake classifieds free

are king snake classifieds free? i got em posted on myspace but theres no animal section so i doubt theyll be seen!

.

No, they're not free.

However, I just checked and there's some smokin' Reverse Oke's for $70, and an adult Anery for about the same, so you might be a bit high... supply and demand...good luck.

The Reverse Okeetees you commented on from Kingsnake are hatchlings. Hatchling and adults have very different pricing.

SDM, I would ask $150-200 shipped for the pair.

The market fluctuates and how much you get also can hinge on what kind of sale you make (a pet store will pay you less than a private party) I recently got $200 for an adult proven pair (female snow and male anery)
The babies you get will depend on the het traits your snake may or may not carry but unless you have bred them already it would be better to tell the buyer you don't know. If neither snake was het for anything else you'd get normals het anery.

Yeah... I noticed that after I posted. Sorry. I think your suggested price is fair.
