I came home for lunch today and found this guy darting in front of me. It is a six lined racerunner. They are really fast moving lizards! I took a chance and ran in the house to grab the camera. I have not seen one of these since I was a teen. :cool:

Nice! He's cool looking!

I've got a pretty little Broadhead Skink that sunbathes himself on my porch all the time. I wish he'd hold still long enough to snap a decent picture.
 
Yeah, they're neat looking. It's a bit overcast today and it was hard to get a true color shot. They tend to be a bit blueish towards their hind end. Heck I'm just happy he was still in the same spot when I came back with the camera! :grin01:
 
I can't believe he waited around for you! I used to catch skinks and swifts all the time as a kid- that's how I perfected my shingle flipping technique. Snakes found at the same time were a bonus!

You need to have your dad bring you over to our house sometime so you can see mine and Joe's collection. You think your dad has a lot of snakes....you should see our house! LOL! It is good to see you out here and we would love it if you visited us more often!!
 
Yeah l0l that would be cool ! Maybe next time I go to my dad's house we can come over and see your collection.
