Aggressive Morphs?

I don't know for sure, not having owned one, but I've heard several people say that blood reds tend to be more defensive than some other corns. I don't have any really defensive kids, although I do have some nervous ones that aren't comfortable being handled by anyone but myself and my husband.
He wasn't defensive, but my blizzard was a super spazz as a hatchling, he would leap into thin air attempting to evade being picked up. He is a bit over a year now and has calmed down considerably.

I had wondered about that, Susan.

None of my snakes are anything like aggressive. The 2 year-olds and two of the yearlings (amel, amel stripe, anery motley, butter, snow pinstriped motley, caramel) have all spent time in my classroom being handled by lots of different people. The only one who minded at all was the amel stripe, Tulip. She's shy, and will often cover her face with a coil when she's feeling reclusive. It's cute!
 
My Serpenco Butter Mot was an absolute beggar for her first year - thrashing around when picked up, striking and musking (she arrived with a pair of GoldDusts who were sweet as a nut from the get-go). She also had a really neat trick, where she'd act calm, wait for you to relax, then go spazzy again when she thought she had the best chance to wriggle free. She's three and a half now and a lot calmer, but she can still be pretty feisty when blue. I keep my gloves near her viv!
 
I currently have 2 corns, and I'm still learning a lot about them so I really don't have any thoughts on aggression based on color morphs. But, I can say that my hypo snow was *very* feisty when I brought her home. She is an early '09. I have a soak box for her, which she loves, and when I check on her and the moisture level in the box, I swear I had a mini re-enactment of Alien... She would strike out from the hole and hit my fingers in a rapid flurry, then disappear into the depths... Lol.
I am happy to say that while she still acts a bit nervous (high strung?), she hasn't tried to strike or evade a hand in several months. My amel hatchling is Mr. Laidback, and has never so much as rattled his tail. <3
 
I have a RO,and she has NEVER been a issue since I got her. She is a 08. She has never gone "Cobra" on me. And LOVES being handled. All my friends LOVE her.

My Male Butter is Nice as well.. altho a bit Flighty.. But has never tried to strike or anything.

My Amel Stripe while I had her was AWESOME.


Had a Lil Classic male that was a Devil! ;)
 
My hypo lavender from Lee Abbott is my most "aggressive". Hi will strike on occasion when getting him out and he's a bit flighty at first. He tames down quickly once out though.
 
Pele's a Motley Sunglow...sweetest snake ever. Had her jumpy, spazzy hatchling phase but has never struck, hissed, bit, nothing. Very sweet, and easy going. Sounds like the motley gene is mellow...
 
Okeetee

In my collection, my baby okeetees are a bit nippy when being moved from the feeding tub back into their home. Otherwise I haven't found any morphs of my own to be aggressive at all.
 
I've had two Abbott's okeetees...sweet as can be. My only mean one has been a fire. Perhaps there is something that goes along with morphs...kind of like breeds in dogs or what have you. It'd be interesting to do a study.
 
None of my corns, kings or BP's has ever been aggresive or known to bite, although I have had a few "surprise!!! you scared me and I do have teeth and this is what they feel like" bites. Must be my wholesome Karma shining through :)
