Eeee! All these adorable, gorgeous baby pics! So jealous. Meanwhile, my dented, pepper-scented eggs continue to taunt me in their seems-ready-now-ness. Day 64 and counting.

Mine went past the 70 day mark, but I also felt like I bred my snakes later than most people, so I definitely feel you! Everyone else was posting their baby pictures weeks and months before mine hatched. They'll get there and then you get to experience corn snake Christmas.

Hypnoctopus, I shouldn't be so impatient when the clutch from this same pairing went over 70 days last year (I want to say it was 71), but I've been hoping for sooner since she laid her eggs much 10 days sooner after confirmed mating this season. I've had the eggs at 82-83 degrees since day 1, but just seems these babes need a little longer to cook than others.

I'm already thinking about next spring, too!

Oh--FTR Nanci, mama Cleo shows no sign of double clutching, though I've kept a watchful eye. Thanks for reminding me to watch for that!
