Amazing Okeetees!!

Nanci

Alien Lover
I have a few Okeetee hatchlings for sale. They have all had lots of meals and are excellent feeders. These babies are the offspring of Gartersnake, the SMR Okeetee Tessera x Madras, a super-aberrant Abbott Okeetee. This clutch exceeded our expectations, and I ended up keeping two, and Troy ended up keeping three! These pics are after the first shed. I did _not_ color them with a highlighter!!

They are priced at $50, plus $50 shipping, FedEx, Hold at Location.

Oh...and for the record. ..until I saw these in person, I had no idea how awesome these were... they are stunning to say the least. For me to keep three is a statement on its own

Nice!! Will you be attending the repticon in Tampa in October?
I'm looking for an extreme Okeetee. Preferably buckskin but a male.

I only tried vending at a show once, and it really wasn't for me. But you only live 100 miles from me.

I find that babies always seem so dark... I haven't seen a progression from hatchling to adult before, so I am wondering (and may be a stupid question), but will those dark babies get lighter and look more like the parents??

They will change an _incredible_ amount!

Here is a photo of Gartersnake as a baby- I'm not sure how many sheds he'd had, but only a couple.

The normal rule for picking out a good Okeetee is to go with the darkest babies. As they grow the dark saddle ring spreads to reveal the red pigment that is somewhat hidden in the center when they are small. I remember getting my first pair of Abbott's Okeetees hand chosen by Lee. I was soooo disappointed when I opened the box because to me they were ugly compared to what the adults look like. But Lee assured me that they would be amazing adults and he was dead on.
With that in mind, these guys have all the potential to be stunners! An added plus is that they are out of a Tessera pairing. The non-Tessera offspring are usually beautifully enhanced examples of their morph.

So much for a quick pic before work…This is in the dark, with three kitchen lights on- she is NOT cooperating at all! They get fed tomorrow, so I'll catch her when she is nice and full of pinky!

(I added in her baby pic below, so I could compare directly!)

WOW! I love her! Ok, I am going to *wait* on this. We have the Phoenix Reptile expo in a few weeks... I want to check out what they have there (to save on shipping), and if they don't have a female that catches my eye, and you still have this girl available...... I will PM you! :)
