Is the butter KNOWN to not carry the striped allele? That's a question I'd really like to see answered: the interaction of sunspot and motley!

Please post images of the entire clutch - even if it is as a mass spread out and not individuals. I'd like to see the variation in phenotype and learn the ratio of such phenotypes.

Thanks for posting,
KJ

The Butter Mot came from Erik Trip from Holland & i believe does not carry the stripe allele but i'll try to contact him to confirm that.
I did breed the mot to a stripe female last year & produced 4 eggs which didn't hatch but when i cut them open they were all perfect motleys.
I believe Marc Vervest has a line of Sunspots which look like they come from motley lines.....
I'll definately keep you updated with pics.....

WOW!! A simply gorgeous snake! Sunspots are definately in a class of their own. Congrats on the clutch! :)

Well 9 out so far & 4 are showing the typical sunspot rounded markings. Took some pics, they aren't great but give an idea of the markings...
