An update and some questions

Kryptonite is 9 months and before the last feeding he was 162 grams. I'm not sure how long he is but he is growing nicely. Anyone think he is growing to fast? I feed him every five to six days. He is on Hoppers right now and is eating them and still looking for more. I know he is full but he does not seem to think so. He has been an amazing eater and over all just a great snake. I can't thank Meg F. enough for picking him for me. He is growing into such amazing colors and a great snake.

About what age do males stop eating because they want to breed?

I have him in a 10 g still and I have a 30 g that will be his finally home, I dont think he is big enough to be in the 30 g yet so how long can I keep him in the 10 g?

If it were me I would put him in the 30g I don't see why it would really be too big for him considering some of us put hatchlings in 20L's right from the start.
Also if you're concerned thinking he's getting too big keep it more constitantly at 6-7 days. But if he's still roaming around hunting for food he should be good and lean and keeping himself well excercised.

Thanks Jenn. I'll have to make room for the 30g but it would be nice to get it out of the back of my car. He spends a good deal of time getting excercised before he gets his food and after he poos.

WOW! My 9 month old is 26 grams...I know hes small but 136 grams is a huge difference. We are talking about a corn right? Haha...does he look proportional? And just FYI my little guy is doing just fine in a 20L viv.

Yes, I'm talking about a corn. And yes he looks just fine. I'll be posting more photos that you can look at soon.

Yours was clearly on a matienence diet for a lot longer.Nicole got kryptonite at a younger age.
When I got my corn when she was 8 months she was only 24g. (FYI She's 1 yr 7 months now and 230something grams)

Yeah I got him at 3 months and he was at 12 grams then. I don't power feed him but I don't matienence diet him either, clearly. How are you feeding yours now? Dean's plan worked real well for me. Try it if you are not already.

I think that weight is not out of the ordinary. Some lines and animals grow faster than others. I had a butter motley reach the same size as a blood that I have... only it took the butter motley 1/2 the time!
