Hello, everyone!
I was recommended to this site by a man who used to breed corns. We started talking after he found out I had purchased a baby from his old stock, and he told me to come to this site for good info on corns, so here I am!
I now have two
The first is an early '09 hypo snow I named Dijibaba (Diji for short). I wish I could remember everything in her breeding, but I *know* she is het amel, anery, carmel, lavender, and maybe motley and stripe. I know there was more, as I looked at her possible hets and thought "oh, covers just about everything..." little did I know! I'm going to try to see if the person I bought her from can talk to the breeder and see if maybe he kept records on her clutch...
The second is my little boy - hatched late summer. Adonis is an amel - although since I have been on this site his coloring seems to be closer to the photos of ultramels I've seen. I'll try to post a pic of him soon and see if maybe anyone can help in that department. He was a "surprise" clutching that happened while Tom was getting ready to move. *If* Tom's male is the daddy (and the female wasn't already preggers when he bought her) then Adonis is het carmel at least.
I am hoping to breed them eventually. Any thoughts on the combo from more experienced peoples?
