Anery Charcoal

ssssinful-1

Held Hostage By Corns
So when I used corncalc.com to get an idea of what the probabilities of my clutch might be, one of the morphs listed was Anery Charcoal. I have looked for pics, but no luck. Ian's vivarium is a great resource, but nothing there. Does anyone have hatchling and adult pics of this morph combo? Thanks in advanced.

There are some over on the other forum, and my own Vanay may be an anery-charcoal. I'll be testing him against a ghost female next year.

Thanks Megan. I searched Varnay and found your progression thread and it all came back to me what a beautiful boy you have! I would have guessed charcoal as a hatchling, but my how he has changed.

The anery-charcoals have a great deal of variety regarding which phenotype has more expression. Some are very anery-like, some very charcoal-like, and some are smack in the middle.

Vanay does not look like my charcoal boyo much... but *definitely* looks nothing like my aneries when placed next to them.

I have 5 charcoal looking worms... ugh. My aneries have a very black and gray/white contrast. The charcoals are dark... one that is very dark. I guess giving them some time may give me a better idea. Were Vanay's eyes gray or black?

*develops a migraine* Maybe why we don't see too many pics of Anery Charcoals. Besides someone should give them a cool morph name.

They are not easy to tell apart by looking. I've hatched several and most of them I had to wait until breeding trials to tell what was what. It really is not fun when you are plugging charcoal into a morph mix only to find out it was an anery-charcoal. :headbang:

My Charcoal male, when bred to a female het Anery, produced 9 Anery/Snow hatchlings out of 17 eggs. Statistics indicate that he *may* be homo Anery also. We'll find out next year...
