Another Lifer! Florida Blue Garter Snake

Very cool! I have never seen a blue garter before. Apparently, where I am working in Central FL, they have the blue stripe garters. I would love to see one! I am crossing my fingers this summer to find one of them, and of course an indigo :D
 
I'm pretty sure it's a female given the size. The males don't get as big as the female garters. I'm not as sure about her being gravid but there's at least one shot that made me think she was gravid.
 
That is indeed one gorgeous snake...but at least the garters I had were MESSY....pooped EVERYWHERE and OFTEN. I think they are better left to the wild!

I say that, but I still probably would have kept her!
