Another try

Ructo is getting ready to shed again. I have been misting the tank. I there anything else I can do to help the shed to go well?

That's probably fine, unless he's had a problem before. You can lay a piece of plastic wrap loosely over the screen lid to keep humidity in.

I have been misting quite frequently, should I still use the plastic wrap. I have only seen him shed once and it went fine.

No I don't think you need to use the plastic wrap.

There is a specific place you can make a test thread here http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16 you can try a bunch of different ways to post pictures. Try posting an uncropped pic and see how it looks.

Also I always upload my pictures to Photobucket and edit/upload them from there. It may be worth a try if you can't get your phone editing program figured out.

Are you cropping and zooming or cropping and enlarging the picture? That's going to generally reduce the quality of any picture. There just isn't enough information on the camera to keep the details of the photo at a greater zoom or enlargement, especially on a camera phone. I've never used an iphone much, but the pictures generally come out nice and clear from what I've seen. Don't crop, just get the snake in the photo, use macro mode if you're too close (I'm not sure if iphone has this or how to direct you to it), then just post the photo as is. Also, try not to use the zoom feature on the phone if you can, shoot the photo at the lowest zoom (i.e. no zoom).

The app somehow is shrinking the amount of pixels without distorting the picture much

For some reason I feel like I read that you shouldn't handle a snake 24 hours before feeding, is that true?

If you have a new little baby snake, I would try not to stress it before eating by handling it a bunch, but with your guy, I think it's fine to handle before eating.
