anyone? I'm hopefully going to start my project this spring to produce some nice ORANGE (I have a strong distaste for reddish miami's) and Gray Miami stripes (using Kathy L.'s beautiful Miami as my source)...

Heres a striped motley, but she may be too red for your taste....

Carol,

SWEET ANIMAL- man o man I hope I can get some that look like that- it is a tad red but the sweetness of the black lines down the stripe really make that a stunning animal! You wouldn't happen to have produced anything/have any others u'd be willing to part with eh?

Thanks for the pic...

Wow

Jesus H Christ! That is a beautiful corn! Great, just great...you just HAD to post a pic! I'm keepin my eyes peeled for such a snake ...it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

How about a couple of Striped/Motleys?

And Carol...that snake is simply amazing!

This is the only Striped Miami that I have, but she is one of my favorites. This photo could be better and was taken this summer, but you can get a pretty good idea what she looks like. The most amazing thing that I have noticed about her is that her skin between her scales is orange, which is becoming more evident as she grows. She glows orange. She is in brumation now, and hopefully she will produce a nice sized clutch in 05.

Nice critter Joe, what do you plan on breeding her with?

Thanks everyone! I think I am going to wait until 2005 to breed this girl. She's big, but only 2 years old. Terri, I bet those are her little siblings of some sort... Very cool! I also believe Kat has a female very similar to mine.

Wow, I wasn't aware that so many miami mot and miami stripe projects had gotten so far along. I'm with DAND!

BTW, welcome back Joe. Long time no see. :) Is that stripe related to the "cubey" girl I've got here?

Well, they are from SMR, too. Unfortunately, these two aren't mine :( They belong to a friend of mine. They were just shipped here first because I have all the proper importation permits! I do have a pair of SMR Miamis het for striped motley, though.

I got this Miami het for striped motley from Don. I got her as a birthday present for my brother. She's really calm too.

Is the a recent pic? Did you just get him/her? I'm only curious to know if he/she ended up being more on the red side or more orange.

She's an '04 hatchling, so the pic isn't that old. If I remember right, I took that pick about 4 months ago. Her colors really haven't changed a lot, but they are lightening up a little. It makes her black borders seem to stand out more.

Sorry........

...... I'm so late to respond to this thread, but here is a couple pics. of 04' hatchlings I hatched out this year. I need to get some updated pics.

Carol, AWESOME SNAKE !!!! I talked to Don a while back about getting some from him this year. I'm hoping he has enough to go around??

Joe, again, AWESOME SNAKE !!! My female is turning out like yours. a little more orange ground color on the dorsal than I perfer, but it's a start.

Walter :wavey:
