I know that hypo causes the snake to under produce pigments, but are there any known mutations that cause an over production leading to an unusually vibrant animal?
 
None that have been identified as such, no... but there's always possibilities for the future. :)

Hmmm...maybe I'll be the first to discover it and be one up on Rich!!

*wakes up* I'm just dreaming. Although I am curious to see what such an animal would look like. These darn snakes need to hurry up and mutate already!
 
To produse a genetically "unusually vibrant animal" you would have to deal with several gene factors. The opposite of a Hypomelanistic (reduction of melanin, black pigment) would be a Hypermelanistic which would be an almost completely black Corn Snake. To achieve an "unusually vibrant animal" you would have to have a selective amount of Hypermelanism, Hypererythrism, and Hyperxanthism. In my opinion this is possably what we already see in the Okeetee phase specimens that are very vibrant.
