LOST MY JOB!!!

Here is the kicker and I'll start it off with a nice little story.. I was about ready to clean out Mr nasty pants Coastal Carpet Python when suddenly my manager walks in and says " As of Sunday.. We would all not have jobs...BUT...

DRUM ROlll......
THE COMPANY was bought out!! And... They're keeping the staff.. So we all get to keep our jobs at the pet store. The old company actually went bankrupt and if someone hadn't stepped in that day I wouldn't have a job.. and I would be crying right now..

But I'm sort of happy. I really enjoy the pet store work. I am just hoping things will get better now with the new owners. I really do still have to be on my toes.. I think they will expect a lot from the staff. I know I'm a great employee though. My managers and co-worker really like me..

I just can't believe that happened.. All of us workers are really lucky.

Phew.

Can I get a happy dance? LOL :D

This company has been around a VERY long time and I would certainly be surprised if it went under so quickly. I'm glad it was saved!

Congratulations!

People still have to buy food and basic supplies for their cats, dogs, and whatever else they have. So if it is well managed, hopefully it can survive the recession until times are better!
