Ashbury Progression

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
Ashbury is a sweet Motley girl I got from Joanna D. I love Normal Motleys and didn't have one in my collection, plus her possible hets go along great with my Sunkissed Motley male.

As an added bonus, I LOVE her Banding! Here are the photos I've taken of her so far, first picture taken by Joanna. The picture that made me fall for her.

Some pictures of when she shed. I didn't post these when I took them because I don't like the white background, but here they are for the progression.

I can't wait for the weather to change so I an get some nice outdoor shots of this girl, but until then, these in the tub shots will have to do!

Thanks for checking her out.

I know, I kept obsessively looking at her picture. When I started getting scared that someone else would buy her I decided to just give in and message Joanna. ;)

Glad I did, hopefully the pos hets will prove out, but even if they don't, these snakes stand on their own!

Thanks for the compliments. Glad you guys like the names. :dancer:

Thanks for posting! I love seeing follow ups of my babies. She is looking great.

I'm a freak about photographing my snakes, so you'll see quite a few more pictures! :dancer:

Awesome! You've got an artist's eye. The color/patterns are bold and delicious..haha...ummmmhhhh!

It's been far too long since I posted any pictures of Ashbury, so it's time for an update. Be warned: I got enough shots to make up for lost time.

I found Ashbury in her tub fresh shed. This is the best representation of her colors.

The normal spot I take photos in was a little darker and more contrasty than usual due to a spring rain.

The lighting was pretty though

It allowed for a beautiful portrait

The off lighting forced me to get a little creative, and I'm glad I did.

The shade made for some better exposures.

Next we found a great little mossy spot

Alright, I suppose that's enough for now! Hope you enjoyed. Thanks Joanna, I'm loving this girl!

I dont know if its the lighting, but her pattern looks really "soft". I like it! I think she has an awesome head pattern!

She's looking lovely. It's great seeing updates. I can't decide if I wish she would keep the brown tone or get more orange/red. It looks like in the outdoor shots the reds are coming in. Well, it's not like we have any say in the matter!

I think it would be really cool if she ended up with red saddles and kind of a light background. She has some oranges coming into her background, but I'm kind of hoping that beyond the neck her background stays kind of muted.

No matter what she ends up looking like I think she'll be stunning! It's so fun watching them grow and change.

I like her head pattern too. It's pretty unique.. I haven't seen it anywhere else really. Man oh man I hope she turns out to be het for Sunkissed! Even if she doesn't though, Motleys from her het for Sunkissed would be very nice as well!

Ashbury is definitely looking more and more red by the shed! :crazy01:

Hopefully I'll get some nice outdoor shots soon. Today was too sunny/ spotty to get any nice shots. Even the shady spots got blown out!

Hope you enjoy the update, I think she looks better and better as she progresses.

She is a very beautiful snake. I like her colors, clean pattern, banding, and the way the thin black borders disappear towards the bottom of her saddles. She's something special!

Thanks guys! Her Banded pattern is definitely what drew me to her. I've always loved the way banded patterns clean up the sides and really just make a snake look picture perfect.

If she turns out to be het SK, now that will be a REAL treat! If not... I'll test her out to my SK MOT boy, so at least I'll get some nice Motleys het SK!!
