Since changing the site, I'm not sure if the size of attachments has been changed or not. I've looked, but can't seem to find where the limits are mentioned. I'm still going by the limits of the old site with no problems, but would like to know if they've been increased. Thanks.

If you go to user cp and then go to edit avatar, the size- 160 X 160 pixels is stated there.
 
Thanks Clint...that's for the avatar size. I'm really looking for the size limits on attached pics in the body of a message. Since we have to click on a thumbnail now, I'm not sure if the pic size has changed. I know that some of you are able to put large pics in the actual message without having to use an attachment, but some of us still need to...just don't have the right stuff to do it othetwise.

An example (this pic says 20.6 KB when I upload it):

I'm not sure why that works that way, mine always load full size. I load mine from other sites posted on the web.
 
Rich was working out some of the kinks over on kingsnakes.com ... the attachment size was REALLY minimal to begin with, and then he changed it... I think it's in the kingsnakes.com thread here on the cornsnakes.com chit chat thread.... he mentioned the limit he set there, which I'm imagining was the same as is set on this site.
 
Well, I looked, but the only limit I see for attachments is a TOTAL figure. I'm not sure if that means per message or per thread, or what, so I set it to have NO limit.

I would say play around with it (in the test area, of course) and see what sort of limits you can discover. BTW, I found something new. Go into your User CP and into Edit Options. Scroll down the page and take a look at the Thread Display Mode. Try out the threaded and hybrid options. The threaded mode is for those people who prefer the threaded display of alternate style message board. The hybrid mode is a combination of both styles. Pretty interesting....
 
OK, tried to upload the largest pic I have on file...it was too large, but the system told me what the size limit was...146.5 KB. Know we all know.
