• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

License Holder or Other Interested Party:

You are invited... The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservations Commission, Division of Law Enforcement, will be holding two public meetings to discuss and receive comments on proposed changes to captive wildlife regulations.

February 24, 2009; 6:30 p.m.; Gainesville, FL
February 25, 2009; 7:00 p.m.; Kissimmee, FL

Additional meeting information, agenda and copies of proposed rules to be discussed are available at http://myfwc.com/calendar.htm , or by calling (850) 488-6253.

Was there anything in particular you were concerned about? It doesn't look like they want to change much. Move some class ll animals to class lll. Pet reptiles are virtually unregulated except for several large snakes and lizards.
