Up for auction is a 2007 female lavender corn snake (named Snakie).
I purchased her from Kathy Love in 2007, and she has been nothing but joy and happiness.

My future snake plans have changed and so I need to make room for some new snakes, and reluctantly have decided to place her up for auction.

She is very docile and last year mothered a clutch of beautiful lavenders.

This year the male that I put her with never hooked up with her so she did not produce any young this year.

Today she weighed in at 502 grams and then pooped on my daughter (not the one pictured) and re-weighed at 491 grams.

Here is her iHerp page. You can see her tracking there (which I started documenting in March of this year)

She is poss het amel and poss het motley.

Auction will go as follows:
1. No reserve price and opening bid will start at $0.01
2. Bids must be incremented in $2.00 amounts
3. Auction will last until Friday August 12, 2011 night 8:00 pm mountain time
4. No bids will be taken after the end time.
5. Shipping (to lower 48 United States only) of $35.00 will be added to bid price, and will be shipped via Fedex, John F (aka Zorro, of coloradocorns.com) will be doing the shipping and I will cover any difference above the $35.00 shipping costs
6. Payment (by PayPal) must be made in full within 48hrs of the close of the auction unless arranged with me prior to auction close.
7. In the event that the winning bidder is unable to fulfill their bid, the second place bidder will be given the option to purchase at their last bid.

Here are some pictures of her from today.

I'll make it forty...remind me of where you are in Colorado please.

Hope it's ok I responded for you Lars, he is in the Denver area but will be with me at the Denver Reptile Expo next weekend if that helps. We are at table A13.

John, thanks...you'd think I could make it to one of these shows...I'm only in Fort Collins.
Hope to see you there. Laura

Yup he's right, go to the show and get some of John's stuff too!
If you can't come to the show, I'm in Brighton, so we could meet somewhere in between (are you in Ft. Collins?).

*Edit, I see that you are

So far so good on my bid...I plan to be at the expo on Saturday...so, if I do win it would be simplest to pick her up there...I assume that will work.

She is beautiful ---- I really enjoy the lavenders and morphs using them. So, it only seems fair not to deny myself what I'm due --- so here's my bid for 42.00
