Youtube, as some of you know, does have the capability of displaying the videos in a full screen mode, but it is simply an expansion of an already compressed file, and doesn't look all that good at all. For those of you who DON'T know about this full screen mode, you simply click on the rectangle in the lower right hand corner of the video to enable that mode.
So I found something better. A site called "Vimeo". On that site you can upload images in high definition (1280x720) and when you click on the full screen icon in the lower right hand corner (looks like four arrows pointing towards the four corners) you get to display the full screen video in something pretty darn close to high definition on your computer's screen. Not as good as a native Blu-Ray video on your home big screen, but quite suitable for internet viewing on your PC. I guess this is about as good as it is going to get until bandwidth through all the ISPs can get bumped up substantially to support putting actual high definition videos on servers and displaying them natively on our PCs.....
