Baby snakes absorb their yolks before fully emerging from the egg and that gives them their first "meal" and gives them a boost of nutrition for a week or 3 after they hatch, so they can actually poop a somewhat normal looking poop once or twice before they actually eat anything. And they will continue to go poop even while fasting, though it will be watery and almost entirely urates, so they are actually peeing.
