So- I had to take a photo myself, with a timer. I sent in a really cute (_I_ thoght) photo, but the writer didn't like it, so she picked one of the outtakes. Oh well.

This is the photo I wanted them to use!

Great story. It's so unfortunate that good animals are put down so often. Ella's so lucky.

Great story, Nanci! It's so nice to see more positive stories about pitbulls, and those that care about them.

I think we are slowing starting to change the general attitude about these dogs - well, sort of. I recently told a business acquaintance that I have a rescued pitbull, and he said that I didn't seem like "the type" to have one. Type!?

I told him I'm the "type" that loves dogs, and that those misconceptions are part of the reason these dogs are so misunderstood!

This photo is better than the one used in the article, but it doesn't take away from how beautiful you 3 girls are together!

Your acquaintance needs to see this video! There are three CS.com members and the mother of a CS.com member just in that short video!

Thanks for the link - very nicely done! I had hubby take a photo awhile ago for that project, but for whatever reason, I couldn't get my photo to upload to their site. I will try it again, as they are still accepting photos for future projects.

Here it is - don't mean to hijack your thread! (Yes, even us "oldsters" love pitbulls!)

Just a few photos got into the video, but they are _still_ putting them on Tumblr.
