Best place to get feeder mice?

Hi everyone!

(I'm new to this forum AND to owning corn snakes, so if I make a fool of myself at first please overlook it. :) )

I just bought my husband our first corn for a Christmas present, and I'm trying to find the best deal/quality on feeder mice. Petco charges about $1.60 for each pinkie... I'm kind of leery of most large chain pet stores, just from experience... from what I've seen online so far, it looks like with shipping I could get them for about $1.00 each-- if I want like a hundred of them.

So what would you all recommend?

TIA,

Laura

TMF(The Mouse Factory) is good and RodentPro isn't bad, either.
With TMF you get 50 in a pack or pinkies, and with RodentPro you get 100.
I haven't had a single problem with RodentPro, but some people have.
Just depends on what you're looking for.
:D

lll reptile is the place I am using because there cheaper when your including shipping, but I'm new to the whole pinkie buying so if anyone knows a cheaper place i would like to know as well.

The Mouse Factory. Snow white mice that look like they have been shampooed. All carefully lined up on trays and vacuum packed. NEVER a piece of bedding or poo. No smell. Perfect packaging for the trip. Excellent customer service.

I recomend getting them from petsmart. The price may seem horrible but they carrie 10 in each container so you dont have to go to the store evry 2 or 3 weeks. I think the price is resonable (compared to others I've seen)

I hate LLL with an extreme passion that can never be matched by anyone. Their products are all sub-par, and their shipping methods are terrible. I only know of ONE person that's had a good experience with them.

Check and see if there are any small mom & pop reptile shops in your area. Sometimes they have the best deals. When I was going to a chain store to get my feeders, I was paying about $60 per week. I found a local store that has since cut that bill in HALF. With an additional 8 snakes since I stopped using the chain, I'm still only paying about $40 (a few snakes bumped up in size, with one of those being a rat size).

Really? I have been getting crickets and roaches from them for years and have had great shipping and cutomer service experiences thus far. However, I have never got pinkies from them yet, but was planning on ordering in a few months when I go through the 40 pinkies I got at the timonium show in my area. Where would you recommend?

lol. guy 1: "what do you do for a living?"....guy 2: "oh you know, I'm a mouse groomer"

But anyway, this is a great thread because I was wondering the same myself (after seeing the prices at pet stores). I think I'll check out the mouse factory for myself, they seem to have a lot of support.

there is another company iuse but i keep forgetting the name and i never save the site when i find it... ><
