Best way to attach Ultratherm uth to rack?

I am Building a rack soon and was just wondering the bast way to attach an ultratherm uth, not sure if foil tape would be best or what. Also when I was looking at videos a guy Put foil tape under his flex watt do I need to to something like that for this uth. Thanks everyone!

My inclination would be to have Rich at Reptile Basics make me some Flex cut to length and pre-wired. I like Ultratherms, but you will have to get around the large piece of plastic that protects the wire connection point.

I'd highly recommend THG heat tape over having ultratherms. Fairly simple to wire in parallel too.

I absolutely plan on getting flex watt once the babies I get get older but for now I will just be utilizing my top shelf of my rack for two babies. I figure since I will be only using one shelf for a while the appropriate size ultratherm would work, but getting flex watt for the rest of the shelves will be the first thing I do when I get a steady job (hopefully I will have one before chistmas), I will be sure to contact Rich when the time comes. Thank you both for the suggestions :)

What material are you building the rack out of?

I'm using ultratherms in a couple places, and have them held down with THICK aluminum tape. I actually think a long ultratherm along the back of the rack, with the plug coming out the side, with the shoeboxes put in lengthwise so they are about 1/3 over the ultratherm, would be a really good temporary solution.
