Best way to prepare for breeding?

Hi there, so i researched corn snake breeding so much and it just seems like every site and every person i talked to has a different method. Some say brumate, others dont, etc, etc. This will be my first time breeding corns (i usually only breed beardies). My male is a 6 year old proven breeder, and my female is 7 never been bred (to my knowledge anyway).

What do you all suggest to do to prepare?

Make sure that you have space and food to keep all the babies if you can't find homes for them.
Have an emergency vet fund in case your female prolapses or becomes eggbound.
Prepare yourself for the possibility of having to euthanize kinked or deformed babies.
Check and recheck the long long list of things to try when the little darlings decide they don't want to eat. Deal with the possibility of having to euthanize those as well. This is really hard, since you have had them a few weeks and might be a bit attached to them.....

i mean to actually prepare the snakes to breed.

Have you read Kathy Love's and Don Soderberg's cornsnake books? Those are the two most successful cornsnake breeders who have also written books about it.
