hay guys. i could really use your help figuring out whether i have a blizzard or whiteout corn.

i bought this guy about 2 years ago from a lps. the owner couldn't tell me what's the morph and i didn't really care at the time. from what i've read, i'm assuming that he's a blizzard, but could always use confirmation. now that i'm considering selling him to make room, i would like to get the morph right when people ask.

thanks guys!

I'd label him a blizzard unless you know for certain that bloodred/diffused is present in his genetics. One means of potentially being able to tell if he is bloodred/diffused is lack of belly checkering. If belly checkering is present then I'd say safe to call him just a blizzard.

Again though, if you've not test bred him and/or aren't 100% sure of his genes then I'd just call him a blizzard. I think blizzard is also a safe assumption at this point as if he were a snow you'd see some pretty definite blotching. Even with your flash going off for the photo, I can't see evidence of blotches.

thanks guys. i'm more into milk snakes so he was a total impulse buy, but he did look gorgeous. i just feel bad for him because for the past 2 years he always goes into a frenzy during april, and i cannot for the life of me find a female blizzard for him.

i just hope that when i put him up for sale, the new owner will appreciate him as much as i did.
