So gorgeous! I would love to see Fort Tort, way cool! I always look forward to new pics of your "playground" LOL

I started laying the new patio today. From 10:30 till 12:00 I got seven stones in, and the drip irrigation, and dug up and replanted three plants. It's so hot.

That salvia had a hard time settling in the first time I planted it, and it is really ticked off now, as you can see by the wilted leaves. At least it has its very own waterer now!!

The water valve that shuts off the water to the house has a pretty fast drip. Birds hang out out there all the time. So I put the lid to Isabel's lay box under it, and now it is a nice, fresh, flowing birdbath!

Yes, Nanci. You unpaved a parking lot and put up a paradise. I lurves Tina the many-shades-of-purple flower.

Wow! I just found this thread and looked through the whole thing. It must be so nice to have all that wildlife. I saw on an animal planet show once that you can have a backyard habitat certified. You should look into doing that. And I didn't know that anoles had such detailed patterns like the tan ones in the pictures. Are they green anoles?

The patterned anoles are brown anoles. Anoles are hatching now, and I have inch-long babies head-bobbing at me! So cute.

I think the next big thing I want is another water garden. And if I could figure out how to make a water turtle habitat, for a pair of spotted turtles, that would be perfect!

So by the time your done the whole acreage will be covered with turtle forts and ponds. Just kidding. Can't wait to see pictures of your next project, you have a talent for landscaping.

You really need to charge admission Nanci. I can't think of any place I'd rather see in Florida than to sit at Fort Tort and have a glass.. Beats Disneyworld!

Wow! I just found this thread and looked through the whole thing.

That's ambitious!! I have a ton of threads about my tortoise enclosure too, but unfortunately not all gathered neatly like this one. If you search for "Tortoise pen," "Tortoise Enclosure," "Fort Tort," you'll find a bunch of threads.

Wait! I found this list of threads as I built it...
