what is involed in breeding mice?.....do u just ned a male and female and they do all the work or is it like the same technech as breed a corn snake?...and how often do they breed?

Well, it's true that i currently do not raise mice for my snakes, but I have bred mice in the past when I was a kid. Sometimes all you need is a male and female, but you are going to do a lot of work as well (cleaning cages, seperating/pairing mice, feeding, watering, etc). As for how often they breed, that depends on your individual mice and their health. Just keep in mind that a gestation period is about 18 days.

How many babies do you want to produce?

I have 2 mouse colonies in 10gallon aquaria. 1.3 in each. I just keep them fed, watered and clean, and they provide lots of baby mouses for me.

I give them a hide-home, fresh bedding weekly, a constant supply of seed, dried fruits, and nuts, and fresh water...the rest is instinct and nature...
