Brett the Butter Stripe: Freshly Shed

She's the female of the '05 pair of Serpenco butter stripes that I bought from Ed Lafferty. She changed my mind about butter AND stripes. Her male counterpart is equally beautiful. He's in California with Stephen Wagner right now for a breeding loan. Thankfully he got there ok. FedEx lost him here in Connecticut, and it took an extra day for them to get him to Stephen. I've never had a problem with FedEx before, but this was a scary one...

Thanks Tim. He'd probably be safer being stolen by you than being FedEx'd back to me.

See, this is exactly why Butter Stripe is on my most-wanted list.
Glad you like her. :) If you don't get one by next year, I'll make you a pair in '08 (Murphy willing).

beutiful

I love that snake.
If you have any in '08 I may just have give you a call.
I hope I get lucky and get a couple of butter motleys this season. It would be nice to add a couple of stripe butters next season.
especially from that beauty

The only yellow snake i like... boootiful!
Same here Elle. I've never been a fan of the brown and yellow morphs, but there's something about a striped or motley Butter that I really like.

Very nice specimen you got there Dean.

Perfect Color on that Butter Stripe. I have a Butter Mot that I really hope develops that deep yellow in time. He's a Serpenco also, and I hear good things about his Butter lines.
