I may have to find a buckskin male for next year cause I'm not sure breeding her to that orange guy is going to give me the buckskins I love. I just don't know anyone with buckskins.

oke:
Thanks everyone
John
Could Buckskins be Yellow Jackets. YJ Okeetees instead of YJ Border-less? Check out this link to a thread and see if it may apply:

I have seen a few YJ Amels, from Amel Okeetee breedings. I seem to see some YJ Amels from here already.
Considering the breeding, would you expect an Amel Corn with intense yellow in the background in F1 from this breeding. If Buckskin is a co-dominant yellow gene like YJ, then if yours is het, only half of the offspring may be effected. If half are YJ Amels or Buckskin Amels and the other half Amel Okeetees, then something is up.
The same would be true of the Okeetees het Amel, half YJ Okeetee and half Okeetee. If your Buckskin is homo YJ, then all of the offspring would be transformed in F1.
The more I work with YJ's, they may be co-dominant. If so, the bright screaming yellow ones would be Supers.
You wouldn't expect the Amel Okeetees from this breeding to look like the Amel Okeetee parent, but is it selective breeding, or an on/off switch?
If it is YJ, in time you will say a switch.
