I know we have some very gifted/talented members and Im looking for some help. Im looking for some video editing software. Freeware preferred but Ill try some time trial stuff. Im looking for something that can edit lighting. specifically something that can lighten/ darken or perhaps change contrast or sharpen video. Something similar to what audacity does for music files but for .avi video files.Anybody use something similar?
 
like maize said, adoe premier and pinnacle are excellent professional video editing programs, however windows movie maker is very easy to use, what do you need to do?
 
I use iMovie, however I have been unsuccessful getting the movies from my Digital Camera to load in the program (movies from a digital video recorder work fine)...I've been looking for a solution that past few days.
 
I love Premiere. I _think_ I saw that Windows Movie Maker had a lighten/darken feature. It'd be easy to check- you most likely have it already under Accessories/Entertainment.
 
Thanks for the advice! Ill check those out tonight. Im sure they'll have what I'm looking for as everyone seems to like the same thing. Makes it easy.
