cannibal corn ???

haha, ur so silly my friend, they werent personal attacks, u asked for some information, we gave it to you, you didnt like our opinions, simple as tht.

Brother they weren't opinions the way they were presented they were arguments and that's all I saw them as personal attacks when I did not give in and say that they were right they got very upset

well, im not apologizing, for i have rights to speak my mind, i feel i did nothing wrong because i didnt, you asked for some info, or even opinions, and u got it, just didnt like it, so tht is swell in my mind.

I'm relatively new to corn snakes, but big chris, are you sure you're an adult and not someone pretending? You claim to come here looking for opinions and not an argument, but you're here arguing. And I don't even understand why you're arguing. You came in here knowing people wouldn't agree with you. There a tons of other threads about it. I've been here 4 days and I already know this. I just don't understand your intentions. I do think you need to put your big boy pants on and leave well enough alone. You have your opinions, everyone else has theirs. Why bother?

words from my mouth,

@Kidme what part of let it go did you miss I'm sorry after 9 pages of posts you have nothing to add to our conversation so again let it go

ok look, if u want people to drop it, or let it go, stop replying and they will stop posting !

Na its rude to just ignore people as long as people want to smart off I will reply to them and we will all keep this thread at the top of the list for weeks its already been at the top of the list for half a day now

neither my vet my local pet store or myself see any inherent problem with cohabing.

Here is where I see your main problem. Instead of talking to people who have been in the business for years and years, and I mean the snake business, the people who have seen and done it all. The ones who know from experience what to do and not to do, you are listening to your vet, who (my assumption) is not an exotic/reptile vet, and your local pet store. I work at Petco and am constantly correcting my fellow coworkers about animal husbandry, I am constantly putting out fires as it were, when it comes to helping customers with their snake and other reptile needs, because one of my customers told them it is ok to house a Red Eared Slider, in a 20 gallon long with 3 inches of water for its life, or that you can keep 2 to 5 corn snakes in a tank, as long as it is big enough.
No one goes online to research before getting their animals anymore. And, I understand that you have experience with snakes, Ok, but catching rattlers in the wild, for sport or work, is much different than keeping captive corn snakes. Many of the people here have told you the risks of keeping snakes together, If you would like to see some graphic pictures about why I do not keep my snakes together, just go look at my albums. There are plenty of pictures in there.

@outcast yes my vet is a reptile vet and runs a very large reptile rescue no not a snake rescue but we work with horned toads. And no I have no interest in seeing your very graphic pictures of cannibal snakes nor do I understand why anybody would be proud to see such pictures I will try it my way and hope that I am not wrong but your other advice about who to talk to I think you are right on I just didn't like the way some people went about giving out that advice I don't think its the proper way to help anybody. I just think people could learn a little bit of common decency to go in place with all the common sense they have or claim to have. Again thank you for your help and advice but I do have my mind made up for the time being that this is still a reasonably safe endeavor and can't be lumped into a all corns must be housed separately conclusion I think it can be a case by case scenario and yes if I am wrong my snakes will suffer and for that I will feel horrible but I don't think that is the only possibility I think it is quite possible that my snakes will prosper together

You just want to keep getting in the last word. :p

They are your snakes, we told you our opinions, you did not like them. So what? You are going to keep your snakes how you want to keep them anyway. I sincerely doubt you started this thread with the intent on changing anything.

I'm sure we can drag it out for a few hundred more posts all saying the same thing, though.

Your snakes might die if you cohab ∞

I don't care, they might not ∞

Yep! I just don't understand why people start things like this, knowing full well its going to be fight!
Or why others, myself including fall into the trap!

I know! I am guilty of the same thing. It just bothers me no end that people would purposely and willfully hurt their animals like that....

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD THERE IS NOTHING NEW YOU CAN ADD AT THIS POINT.

@baroness yes your possibly right I don't know maybe I hoped to get people to tell me everything would be ok I don't know and like I said I don't care any more I just want this angry thread to die. But you are wrong about one thing I don't need the last word I waited hopping your comment would be the last but you see its not now I don't blame nanci because her article is the most detailed I have read and she was very helpful in the way she posted it but I just want this to go away.

Regardless of what people think about me I love my snakes but I do also love watching them interact together yes they entertain me when they play on the same branch I'm sorry that a statement like that could cause so much anger but I can't take it back because honestly it is true.

If you want to call me a piece of crap and flood my email with hate mail I promise I will read everyone and look at every good article. But as of now since I have already started cohabing and I like the results I will not be stopping yes if I'm wrong it would be at the detriment of my snakes and for that I would feel horrible but I don't think that it has to end bad and right now that's where I am at.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD THERE IS NOTHING NEW YOU CAN ADD AT THIS POINT.

Yup, we are still at the "my snakes might be injured or killed and I STILL don't care" stage.....sad.
Stupidity kills.....

Betcha not a single one of his snakes lives to see 15 years of age.....
