Caramel lavender?

He is the opal butter motley and as you can see amel in the mix creates a snake that looks like a very colorful snow almost. Don't be surprised if a few of these pop up in your future clutches since amel is so common;) You'll also get some diffused amber lavenders that will be hard to tell from diffused caramel lavenders should one of your snakes just be bright and not actually a hypo, but not until the F2. Then of course you'll have the same issue if their diffusion is just so so because bellies can be deceiving, but you will see some nice blood red stripes in the F1 should the parents hets be correct.

but for those people considering embarking on their own project, be prepared for some major head scratching when the eggs start hatching out.
Tell me about it....

4 years ago I started with a hypo lavender het. anery x Caramel motley het. amel, but now I am glad that no amels or anerys have popped up yet.

In 2009 I made a probable hypo lavender caramel motley (peach motley) and this year I got a Peach (amber lavender) I think:

When they just hatched, amber and peach:

I only have a Charcoal Lavender...:uhoh:

What does it look like? I was working on that project for years and never got anything I could positively identify as being a combination of those genes. So I just assumed that Charcoal overpowered Lavender and stopped trying....
