Has anyone tried to make a Caramel Snow? Is anyone close? Easiest was would be for a snow het caramel to butter het anery right? Does anyone have an idea of what they'd look like. Just trying to figure this out. I want caramel snows and I want to ensure that's what it is. Any ideas anyone?:bang::shrugs:

Rich Z the owner of this forum has produced Xanthic Snows (Amel+Anery+Caramel) and I also have one that I purchased 
My girl looks like a snow at the moment, as she's still young, but hopefully, she will develop the buttery yellow colouration on her saddles as she grows
Here's a pic of my girl, she's the one in my avatar and she also has an abberant pattern. I've also included a pic of Rich Z's, that's older and more colourful (hope he won't mind) I found his pic by using the search function when I first got my girl.
Anyway hope this helps,

Yeah, I sold off nearly all the adults a while back. Unfortunately the babies look pretty much like regular run of the mill snows, so I decided to move the entire project along. I was afraid that I could not guarantee EVERY baby would turn out looking like something different from a regular snow.
I did hold back one or two, with may a Xanthic Snow Motley, just to breed with GoldDust Motleys.

Wow, that Xanthic Snow of yours that Susilea posted sure has a lot of "frosting". What species did you cross corns with to produce that? :sidestep:
Yellow anacondas. I thought EVERYONE was doing that......... :rofl:
Got some GoldDust Corns het for Anerythrism last year. Mostly males, though. :shrugs: Hopefully I'll get more females this year.....

Wow! Do you suppose you'll get some Ultra Xanthics? Those pictures that were posted were gorgeous. I really appreciate all the help from everyone that posted. When I searched for Caramel Snow I kept getting Butters. lol Did the hatchlings of the Xanthics really have that much of a chance of not being Xanthics or were they just not a bright yellow as you would have liked? Did people just not jump on that project after they saw the results? Isn't the issue of not being able to tell the future brightness always a probability with corns? I've looked at so many pictures of corns on the net, definitely don't have the collection or the experience to know for certain, but isn't that the standard for every morph? I don't know, I'm probably just not visualizing what your sight for them is. Either way thank you so much. As soon as I can find someone that has these for sale I'm going for it. I really have this thing for yellow in corns right now. I've even found this snake from the petshop that is probably a caramel hatchling, it's beautiful. At first I thought it was an anery except for the eyes and the yellow. It's background is toward the neck is brownish but when it gets to the lower half it's silver. The eyes are golden, and the saddles are a dark almost black color. Along the back, she has a golden color between the saddles all the way to her tail. Anyway, just drooling here.
