I thank you both for your birthday wishes. Of course I'm quickly approaching that point where you'd rather forget that another year has gone by. :)

Unfortunately........

I've taken advantage of being 21,

so many times since turning 21,

that now I can't remember 21!!

just think of it as another year arriving rather than another year gone by

Ah, a very good point. The one thing that really bothered me was the realization that next year's "arrival" places me half way to.....70!!!!! :eek1: :puke01:

What are you whining about.....I'm more than halfway to 80. Eeekkk! Oh well, I may get older, but I refuse to grow up!

Happy Birthday CAV!

You could try what I plan on doing once I hit the big "three - o". Start subtracting! Isn't that what they mean by many happy returns??? I'll happily return a few years! LOL!

Now blow out all those candles and make a wish before the fire marshall comes! :p

J/K! Hope you have a great day!

Happy birthday, Gary! For what it's worth, you look young for your advanced age! If memory serves, Jonas Salk was 41 when he discovered pennicillin. Henry Miller was 38 when he moved to Paris and wrote novels that actually sold. And Barry Bonds was 35 when he dinged 72 homers to smash the "untouchable" homerun record. So they, like you, were just reaching their prime. Hope your birthday was great and Carmen and I are wishing you the best.

Gary - I'm older than you too so you are beginning to look like the young one round here.

Bekah - what happens when you get to 60 and are no years old? Do you become negative, or do you start counting up again.

Skye
