Celebrating!

So I thought I'd take some pictures because the weather is very nice today. Despite it being cloudy. I am also celebrating my 1000th post! Woot! Never dreamed I'd make it that far when I was just starting out here lol. I just took Dez to a nearby park at about 8 am. Had a guy walking his dog come by to give me photography tips lol. I certainly need them but at the moment am lacking in money haha!

Couldn't wait until after he shed. Anyways Here are the pics, thanks for looking!

Dez is beautiful, Grace. Gotta tell you though, my heart melts looking at your rat. One of those is definitely on my list of "wants."

Great pics! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on your 1000th!

Grace!

Dez is one good looking boy! I love the shot of him up in the tree!

However, I too am very partial to the Leucistic Texas Rat. I just love them! Too bad he doesn't like "picture day". LOL.

Congrats on these two. They're awesome!

Fred

Your close ups are really nice! And I like how the white rat looks on the white birch!

Great pics of Dez! Taking him to a park is a wonderful idea! I'd have problems deciding which snake of mine to take..
The green colors compliment Dez so well.

I love taking pictures on over cast days.. Natrual diffused light is my friend, and tends to show of the real natural colours of my kids most excellent like..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

Awww, someone else who has still-sitting snakes outside - I'm jealous. Buddy is quite the looker for someone who hates to have his picture taken :D.

Grats on the 1000th post - too bad I'm 8 posts late.

Hey thanks everyone for all of the really nice comments! I know my photography isn't the best and I still have a lot to learn. So your comments mean so very much!

Everyone seems to be enjoying the texas rat! Thats surprising since most people I know who like snakes dislike the look of the leucistic gene. Oh well lol.

Tim, its funny you mention that about over cast days because I took my kids out just because it was cloudy out. I agree wth it really showing off their natural colors. A guy came along when I was snaping pics and he started talking about how I should take them over to a tree with sunlight and get a tripod. (I nodded and smiled about the tree in the sunlight part...from what I could see every tree for miles around was under clouds lol!)

Putty...Buddy only got three pictures in and only one worth showing because he couldn't stay still. And Dez only quit moving for maybe two minutes lol! Don't be too jealous!
