This is a project I've been working on, and it's not even done yet! With most Hybrid crosses, you see the craziest colors and patterns in the F2's and F3's, so these should be really wild down the line. I have 5 eggs in this clutch and 3 in the second. Unfortunately, there are only two other people that I would trust with these, since they resemble Cali's so much, so they will not be for sale.

Nice project! If you hadn't said they were hybrids, one could easily call them pure Cali kings so I can see why you'll be keeping them all. I'll look forward to the next generations photos as they should be very interesting!

It'll also be interesting to see if they get as big as Cali's or stay small like their mom. Funny if I end up with 2 foot Cali lookalikes, lol.
 
I got home from Daytona and found these guys all out of their eggs. Now that they're in blue, I can actually see color in the bands, even on the first one that hatched. There are two with funky patterns too ;) Can't wait until they shed!

Thanks! The silver eyes are way cool, and one even has a little Thayeri head, lol...

AWESOME!! Congrats on what will likely be a very fun project down the road! That touch of red coloration in the bands is great. I hope that becomes more apperant after they shed.

Can't wait to see the f2 of this project!

They are gorgeous! They're turning out not-so-Cali king with all that red showing through. How bad are the kinks on the second female? I really like male #1!!

Didn't seem too bad, but I didn't subject her to an all out inspection before feeding, just felt them as she squeezed through my fingers as I was trying to sex her. I'll give her a good going over after I get a couple more meals in her. I've seen knots work themselves out after a couple feedings, so :shrugs:
