Corn Snake Tattoo Design

You can't not colour the corn one! If you can find a tattoo artist good enough to be able to do it that small, then you gotta go the whole hog.

I prefer the shape of the rosy as well, yes it definitely screams 'tattoo'!

I will get a snakey tattoo one of these days...!

I love this, it's beautiful.

Once I get into a secure career, I'd love to get some.
I'd like to get a German Shepherd tattoo, a puffer fish tattoo and perhaps a corn snake once I figure out where I'd like it and a design.

I don't think a good tattoo artist would have a problem with it at all, I thin in portraits or realistic animal tattoo's details are even smaller. You will be fine! Great tattoo!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I have a couple of artists in mind who did friends' tats, so I'll check them out later in the fall when I have some money saved up and see what they think.

My concern is that lines spread over time and small tattoos become blurry. I would not want to see such a great design ruined in a few years. Few tattoo artists use single needles, its usually three for line work. Even a thin line will spread. I have proof of that, lol. I have one with small cursive writing that you can't read anymore. I wish that artist had told me to go bigger, but so many just want the money.

I love them both, especially the first design! :) I'm pretty heavily tattooed already, but still want a snake tattoo... probably gonna be a ball python, though, since that was my first snake. Anyway, I can't wait to see your finished ink!

You know, there are a lot of non-visible spots (in normal clothing) for tattoos... most people don't even know I have 15-ish tattoos, unless I start showing them off. ;)

Great designs. I wish I could design a new tat but alas I have not one ounce of artistic ability in me. Good luck getting it done!

This is true, but some of them I want are in visible places.
I'd like a german shepherd outline with some shading around my wrist.
Puffer fish wont be too visble - back/shoulder.
and the snake - not sure yet where I'd like to get that one, but i'd be cool if I could get it like wrapped around something be it my arm or maybe around my leg - this one is still in progress. haha.

Same here. We aren't allowed to have visible tattoos at my company, so they are hidden, all 14.

I love them! I'm getting a big ol' corn snake wrapped around my arm done on October 8th, but I'm having the artist draw it for me, because, well, he's a whole lot better than me at that sort of thing. :) This will be my first bigger tattoo, and the first one with shading, so I'm really excited. I decided for myself what my birthday presents were going to be this year, and the tattoo is the second (the first is my lovely lovely carpet python). I look forward to seeing how yours turns out!
