Hi guys my lil female butterstripe went into a hunger strike for a month before this she weighted 85g and today she weights 74g.
I read about force feed and after lots of research I had to try it I blended 2 fuzzies, 4 pinkys, nutriback and 60ml of water i ended just giving her 6ml of the blend and dumped the remaining, I also gave her a pinky. How likely is it that cornflake will regurg after being force feed. My wife and me are really worried what would you guys recommend me to do for her next meal (6 days from today) offer a fuzzy or go directly to force feed :(

When was the last time she ate? Is she being housed with another snake? Any wheezing?

What have you tried so far to get her to eat?

Well she ate by her own a month ago I force feed her today she is alone no wheezing but she stays in her hot side a lot more and she is not being very active.
Yes I had try to feed her by making cuts to the mouse, I left her for the hole night with a mouse cut in half and scenting but nothing worked 

Try feeding her a super hot, slit pinky. My snake Sprinkle has been very picky since her hunger strike, and sometimes she only wants to eat little tiny pinkies. I don't know why, but she gobbles them down and ignores the bigger pinkies??

You can try moving her into a feeding container instead of feeding in the terrarium (if that's what you're doing). Other things include putting a small hide in the feeding bin. Covering it, leaving them overnight (without interruption!), using a very very small feeding container, so small that she's pressed up against the mouse no matter what. Or any combination of those things. Force feeding is really a last ditch effort, so try everything before you do it again.

I done that already, and I absolutely do not feed inside on the viv. I had a problem feeder before my 1 snake Tatzu we solve his issue by living in his feeding container over night but nothing has worked with cornflake I even try to feed her small pinkys but no success. She is just not intersted at all in any food and I have no idea if she's drinking any of her water :(

today was a horrible day we found little cornflake death :( tomorrow ill take her to the vet for a necropsy to see why did she die ill update next week

That's so aweful! Very rarely snakes stop eating and perish so soon. Something hit her hard, probably there was no way of helping her. My thoughts are with you!

Thx for all ur cheerfully comments, I made a vet appointment for tomorrow she was adorable she was the only snake that actually looked forward to being handeled I'll miss her

I am truly sorry to hear about Cornflake. I sincerely hope the vet will give you some answers- who are you taking her to?

Sorry for the late update but im in the middle of my finals at school and its beaing a really streasfull bussy week/weekend.
I too her All About Pets for the necropsy and the doc told me that she had a brain tumor i asked him that i this casue her to stop eating and what was the cause of the tumor why it was htere he told me that there was no way to know for sure and that yes that it was must likley that the tumor was the cause of her not eating.
At least she's in a better place now. THX for all the possitive comments and thughts thx a lot guys
