Coyote: The Rescued Bull Snake

Beothon Lover

The One an Only Kuro....
I was out at where i have my horses and was down where the water pump is and here is this little snake about to fall into the water pipe and drown!

I got a stick and put it in there so he/she had something to help get him/herself out and happily the snake came out and was fine. This little snake is very docile doesn't act wild at all...last bull i caught was continuously biting me while i was moving it to a safe place but this guy/girl was an angel, just curled around my fingers and let me rescue him/her

I still have him/her(though i think it actually a girl...could be wrong though) gonna watch him/her for awhile and see if she/he will adapt to captivity well...if she doesn't i'll let her go where i found her i wont keep a wild one that doesn't seem adapt and is stresses about being confined

So i'll give her two weeks to a month and if she doesn't do well i'll let her go...there are plenty of mice out at the horses so i know she wont go hungry if i do end up letting her go.

pic time....

there we go...she's a very calm girl and didn't mind a bit to take pics...she likes to "talk" though she'll let out short little hisses like she trying to say something but its not mean sound just sorta sounds like she's just breathing out.

Wow... You've done what I've been waiting to do for the last 4 years... catch your very own bull/gopher snake! Congrats!!!! It is so kewl that it was docile for you. Just don't let your guard down!

Lucky you!

Rich- thanks! she is a pretty girl...and very lucky she would of drown if i hadn't of helped her out

Thunder- she wasn't that hard to catch. i already have a gopher though he's a CB snake not WC like this girl. she did ratle her tail at me this morning but she calmed down after a couple seconds, the last bull i caught was real mean but she's a sweetie

Eddie- thanks. if i catch any snakes i usually try to get pics before i release them but not always.

Nanci-thanks. she pretty calm like i said hasn't offered to bite and easy to handle...doesn't mind so far being in her sterilite. i've met some cranky adults too...i hope she retains her sweet calm nature she has now.

thanks for all the compliments on her/him.

trickster- him/her is partially named after your Coyote, cause your Coyote is one of my favorites of yours along with Selu.
